Private in house PRINCE2®, MSP™ and ITIL® training courses
An in-house course is a great option for your organisation if you have more than six people who need PRINCE2 training. When you purchase an in-house course from us you have flexibility to tailor the training to your requirements.
How many people do I need before I can have an in-house course?
In house courses are usually cheaper per delegate than public courses if you have more than six delegates. They are most economic if you have twelve delegates, which is the maximum we accept on a PRINCE2 course.
Which courses can do you provide in-house?
CC Learning delivers:
- PRINCE2 overviews
These can be from one hour to one day long depending on the audience, and we routinely tailor the content of these sessions. PRINCE2 overviews do not come with official certification.
- PRINCE2 Foundation only
Usually a three day course, but can be scheduled to run longer and cover additional material. This course includes one examination and delegates who pass are certified at Foundation level.
- PRINCE2 Practitioner only
Usually a two day course, but can be scheduled to run longer and cover additional material. This course includes one examination and delegates who pass are certified at Practitioner level.
- PRINCE2 Foundation with Practitioner
Usually a five day course including two examinations and delegates who pass are certified at Practitioner level.
CC Learning can also arrange in-house courses for Managing Successful Programmes™ (MSP™) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library® ITIL®, or other project management and business analyst training. These are delivered by ATO's and training organisations we have selected.
What materials do you offer for in-house courses?
Our in-house course customers usually choose to purchase all the same materials we provide on public courses - see our CC Learning page.
How do I book an in-house course?
All you need to do is contact us:
- We will discuss your requirements:
- Which PRINCE2 course you want (Overview, Foundation, Practitioner or Foundation with Practitioner)
- Preferred dates
- Requests for tailored content.
- We provide a written quote
- Once you accept the quote, we ask you to:
- Sign the training agreement
- Complete our Training Venue Requirements checklist
- Provide a list of delegates to us.
- We then send out the pre-course reading, lead the course, conduct the examinations (if required) and advise the results.
What are the advantages of an in-house course?
- Delegates can have open and frank discussions about topics specific to your organisation
- The training can be tailored to the needs of your delegates - for example:
- It can be run out of normal business hours
- Extra time can be scheduled to give the delegates a better learning experience
- Additional content can be taught - for example training on using Microsoft Project for PRINCE2 projects.
- Your executives can participate in the training by providing a keynote talk that emphasises the importance of the training and their support for it
- In house courses usually work out cheaper per delegate than purchasing places on public courses.
What are the disadvantages of an in-house course?
The only disadvantage is that your delegates will not have an opportunity to network and share experiences with delegates from other organisations.
