Which ITIL v3 courses do I need to attend to be granted the ITIL v3 diploma?
If I know ITIL v3 can I work in an ITIL v2 environment?
v3 builds on the success of v2, but places more emphasis on the IT life cycle and how it delivers benefits and business outcomes. For example where v2 aims to align IT and business, v3 takes the idea further by aiming to integrate IT and business.
Has the content changed or just the certification?
There is new content, and some content has changed.
Where v2 placed emphasis on process life cycle and promoting the alignment of IT and business, v3 emphasises return on investment and management of the life cycle IT services to deliver business outcomes.
