Key features of our approach to PRINCE2 training
Pre course study
|
|
The first step in our comprehensive approach to the training is pre course study. We provide a comprehensive study guide with different paths for different levels of experience. You can choose the path that suits you best.
|
[The pre-course reading and materials were] easy to link to the main course and highly informative . . . I find PRINCE2 concepts very useful and easy to apply to real life projects and I am currently in the process of applying them to our projects.

Our excellent trainers
|
Our trainers receive strongly positive feedback from delegates on their courses. We solicit feedback independently of the trainer to make sure these results are genuine.
|
Our new PRINCE2 workbook
|
Now in its fourth major edition (4.1) we have an excellent workbook for you to follow and take notes in during the course.
|
The materials especially the charts are a brilliant mnemonic! The course presenter, it appears, is an absolute master of PRINCE2. He was very articulate and funny and used real life examples from my work situation thus facilitating effective understanding.
The [trainer] was simply captivating! A wonderful trainer in every sense!

Our straightforward five-day programme
|
Some providers recommend you sacrifice face-to-face time with the instructor for self-study using a CDROM. Other providers recommend you have a break between the Foundation and Practitioner parts of the course.
We do not recommend either of these approaches because:
- You simply cannot learn as well without dialogue and the extra stimulation and experience other delegates bring - during the presentations, exercises, breaks, lunches, study groups or out of hours
- You need face time with the instructor to make sure you have the right understanding - if you rely too much on self-study you can interpret the materials wrongly, and once you think something works a particular way it is very hard to unlearn
- Delegates sometimes think breaking the course into two parts will give them more time to study for the Practitioner examination; well it does, but too often that extra time is eaten away by other demands - we say you should dedicate yourself totally for one week - it simply works better
If you book with us you get appropriate self-study, and then we give you a full five days with the instructor.
If we thought there was a better way for you to learn PRINCE2 we would already be doing it.

Examination preparation
|
From the time you start the pre course study until you start the final examination we prepare you for the examinations. Our materials include trial examination questions (unlike many training companies, we update these every quarter on average), and you get coaching and feedback from the trainer as you go - both during the day and out of hours if necessary.
|
The training fee covers everything
|
Some providers like to spring extra costs on you after you have booked; when you train with us your payment covers:
- All pre-course study guides and reference material
- All course materials including our workbook and trial examination questions
- The official PRINCE2 manual
- All examination fees
- Training fees
- Restaurant lunches
- Snacks and beverages.

Accredited Training Organisation for PRINCE2
This accreditation means we have met the exacting quality standards expected by the UK Office of Government and Commerce (OGC).
ATOs are assessed on behalf of the OGC by an independent accreditation and certification organisation, APM Group Limited (APMG). The APMG ensures that ATOs employ only accredited trainers to delivery accredited training and that the ATOs' internal processes match the high standard of quality expected of them.
Most importantly all course materials including presentation slides, lecturer notes, student workbooks and classroom exercises are assessed by the APMG to ensure they conform to both the syllabus and the OGC's exacting quality standards.
Accredited trainers
The trainers we propose has been accredited by APMG as well.
